A word aid, not a referee
Lettercraft helps you find and check candidate words. It does not decide what is allowed in a game, a tournament or a classroom. Use the dictionary that your game names.
Third-party word lists
The English list is derived from SCOWL and the Swedish list from SALDO's morphology. We do not add or edit entries beyond the filters on the method page. Errors upstream will appear here until the lists are rebuilt.
What is not included
- Proper nouns, acronyms and most abbreviations.
- Words with letters outside a–z (and å, ä, ö for Swedish).
- Words longer than 15 letters or shorter than 2.
- Multi-word phrases and hyphenated words.
